KARACHI: Sindh Excise & Taxation (E&T) department on Monday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered substantial quantity of drugs during separate raids in Karachi. According to details, the raids were conducted on a tip-off, which revealed that drug peddlers were actively selling different types of drugs in Lines area and Christian colony.

Reacting on this information, E&T team raided near Pakistan General Store Christian Colony and arrested an accused Ajmal Khan with 1050 grams of heroin worth Rs10 million in international market Similarly, the department has recovered 500 grams of Hashish from another accused Zainul Abidin near Student Biryani at Lines Area.
