Coronavirus claims seven more lives in Sindh taking provincial death toll to 2,357

(Karachi) Coronavirus claimed seven more lives and infected at least 310 people during the past 24 hours in Sindh, media reported on Friday.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that seven more people died from the disease during past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 2,357.

He added that 310 new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in Sindh, taking the total number of infections across the province to 127,381.

The CM maintained, “Currently, 4,458 patients are under treatment in Sindh, of them 4,139 have been under treatment at homes and seven at isolation centres."

He mentioned that 312 patients have been admitted at different hospitals and of them 233 are in critical condition while 32 are on ventilators.

Shah highlighted that 934,689 samples have been tested for the diagnosis of coronavirus in Sindh.
