The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) unveiled on Tuesday its performance report highlighting its successes on the internal and external fronts in the two years since it came into governance.

In a press conference, Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh, Minister for Industries Hammad Azhar and Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar presented the performance of the government.

Sharing the achievements of his ministry, Qureshi said Pakistan is no longer considered part of the problem but part of the solution. He said Pakistan is now being viewed as a partner in peace. He added that Pakistan has also played its part in the Afghan dialogue which is about to commence.

Qureshi said that India wanted to isolate Pakistan at the regional and international levels but failed in their plots. He further said that it is because of their policy that the Kashmir dispute stands internationalized today.

Prime Minister Imran Khan in his address to the UN General Assembly and other international forums forcefully raised the Kashmir dispute, the foreign minister said.

He continued that people can compare the speeches of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari at the United Nations and see how often the word Kashmir was used in their speeches.
