KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling inched up on Tuesday, a day after the central bank maintained its loose monetary policy stance by leaving its benchmark rate unchanged at 7% for the next two months.

At 0902 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,665/3,675, slightly up from Monday's close of 3,670/3,680.
