Kenya's shilling holds steady against the dollar

NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was stable on Tuesday, supported by the central bank's mopping up of excess liquidity in the money market through term auction deposits, traders said.

At 0919 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 108.10/30, barely changed from Monday's close of 108.00/20.
