Capital sees 41 new cases of Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has witnessed an increase in the federal capital as compared to the last few days as 41 more tested positive on Friday taking the total tally of infections in the city to 15,182. The official number of daily reported cases of the Covid-19 remained under 30 but on Friday it surged to 41.

As per the data, out of total 15,182 cases, 12,833 patients have completely recovered and 170 have died since the outbreak of the coronavirus. The total active cases in the city are 2,349.

Out of the 2,349 active cases, 191 are in Sector G-8, 157 in Lohi Bher, 109 in G-9, 96 in I-8, 88 in G-6, 87 in G-7, 81 in G-10, 79 in Tarlai, 74 in Bhara Kahu, 62 in I-10, 54 in G-11, 53 in Khana Pul, 52 in F-11, 45 in F-6, 44 in F-7, 43 in Chak Shahzad, and 40 in Sohan.

Similarly, 39 cases are in F-8, 35 in Sector G-13, 37 in Rawat, 36 in F-11, 33 in I-9, 23 in Ali Pur, 21 each in sectors F-10 and G-15, 20 in Koral, 18 each in Sector E-9 and Kurri, 16 in ASF, 14 in Tarnol, 12 each in Sector F-5 and Shah Allah Ditta.
