KARACHI: FPCCI's Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Business Council 2020 held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Sardar Shahid Ahmed Leghari and elected Col Touqir-ul-Islam (retd), Senior Vice Chairman & Bilal Aqeel, Vice Chairman.

Meeting discussed proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan & Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and was of the view that the said FTA would open new areas of trade, competition and innovation for Pakistan with Saudi Arabia & other GCC countries.

Meeting also discussed in detail the plight of religious tour operators and demanded relief from Pakistan & Saudi Arabia governments to combat post Covid-19 financial crunch.

Meeting was attended by directors - Col Touqir ul Islam (retd), Bilal Aqeel, Abdul Rasool Sheikh, Arshad Sangri, Sajjad Ahmed, Khalil Ahmed, Shahid Malik and members - Sheikh Tariq Mohammad, Karim Nawaz & Ghulam Nabi.-PR
