ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb Friday said the government decision to import sugar is "Sugar Theft Part 3". In a statement, Aurangzeb said, the "Imran-led mafia" has once again created a shortage of sugar in the country, which is why the government is trying diversion tactics of accusing opposition of demanding NRO.

She said the "shameless Imran Khan" is making victory signs to the nation after robbing them off their sugar through "his ATMs" and "the mafias, he is a slave to." The nation should stay alert to the fact that this government is all set to rob them more through this sugar import scheme.

Imran Khan will now make another sugar commission to hand another NRO to his "mafia friends" and "masters" who make billions of profits through him. This "Imran-led mafia" has planned to loot billions from the public treasury for this 300,000 tonnes of sugar import, which is "Imran's Rs23 billion Eidi" to his "mafia aides," she alleged.

The former information minister alleged that Imran government was buying expensive sugar from abroad and would sell it at inflated price in Pakistan from which his friends would make billions and give him his cut. Who had made the ECC decision this time, and who has given the statistics this time, she questioned Prime Minister Imran Khan.

"Why is Imran importing sugar three months before sugarcane crushing season, maybe he has run out of the looted money from sugar crisis part 1. Why has Imran taken immunity from PPRA rules to give a free-for-all looting licence to his mafia friends to loot the nation yet again," she said.-PR
