KARACHI: Gold on Monday posted the highest ever single day increase of Rs5100 per tola to drive the precious metal price to another record high of Rs123800 on the local market, traders said. Gold was traded for Rs106138 per 10 grams, up by Rs4372 on the local market, while its international price was quoted as $1942 an ounce, up by $46. Silver was available for Rs1500 per tola, up by Rs100; Rs1286 per 10 grams, up by Rs85.73 and $24.18 an ounce, traders said.
