Islamabad closes all public places till Eid holidays

  • Murree Expressway, Margalla, Parks and other recreation places including hotels and picnic spots, will be closed from today till after Eid holidays.

The district administration of Islamabad announced on Monday its decision to keep public places and tourist destinations in the capital closed on Eid ul Azha.

In a tweet, the deputy commissioner said that Murree Expressway, Margalla, Parks and other recreation places including hotels and picnic spots, will be closed from today till after Eid holidays.

The DC has asked people to refrain from making any plans, get-togethers, during the Eid holidays. He urged them to bear a little pain this Eid and protect lives from the novel virus.

Islamabad has so far reported 14,884 coronavirus cases and 164 deaths. While, 12,253 have also recovered from the virus.
