Farogh Naseem sworn in as law minister for third time

  • He resigned in June to represent the government in Justice Qazi Faez Isa case.

Barrister Farogh Naseem took oath on Friday as Pakistan's law minister for the third time.

He was administered oath by President Dr Arif Alvi in a ceremony held at the President House. Farogh has stepped down from his post twice to represent the government in two cases.

Law Minister Farogh Naseem resigns to represent govt in Justice Isa case

Last year in November, he resigned from his post to represent the federal government in a case related to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s extension.

This year in June, he once again stepped down to represent the government in a presidential reference filed against Supreme Court judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
