Sindh reports 1140 new cases, 25 deaths

  • 736 patients are in critical condition in the province.

Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah said on Wednesday that 25 more people have passed away from the novel coronavirus.

In his daily coronavirus update, the CM said in the past 24 hours 1140 people tested coronavirus positive. " Out of 604728 tests, 108,913 have come out positive," the chief minister said. He said Karachi has reported 522 news cases today.

The CM further said that Sindh's death toll has climbed to 1,888 after 25 more people passed away from the virus. He added that 736 patients are in critical condition while 106 are on ventilator.

Speaking about the recoveries in the province, the CM said 4872 more people have recovered taking the tally to 70292.
