ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday said that 27 candidates will contest Senate elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to ECP, 14 candidates will contest for General seats, eight for women seats and five candidates were in the run for Technocrat seats.
Four candidates from General seats included Maulana Samiul Haq, Abdul Wasi, Haji Dildar Khan and Muhammad Qaisam Shah had withdrawn their nomination papers while Abdul Latif Yousafzai had withdrawn candidature from Technocrat Seat.
