Three amendment bills passed, four tabled in KP PA

PESHAWAR: The provincial assembly Monday passed three amendment bills while four bills were tabled in the house.

All the bills were introduced by Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi.

The adopted bills were included, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment of Information Technology Board (Amendment) Bill, 2018, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2018, The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Protection Against Harassment of Women at the workplaces (Amendment) Bill 2018.

Similarly, the bills introduced in the House were included The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Powers of Attorney (Amendment) Bill, 2018, The KP Specific Relief (Amendment) Bill, 2018, The KP Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2018 and The KP Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (Second Amendment) Bill, 2018.

Interestingly, the bills were bulldozed when joint opposition was on walkout and only few legislators were sitting in the house.
