Rahul Dravid showers praise on Pakistan’s rising pacer

Indian U19 cricket team coach Rahul Dravid has been receiving praise from all cricketing corners following his mentor-ship, which led his side to grab the U19 World Cup.

The Indian batting legend along the way also unearthed future stars from opposite teams as well, including Pakistani fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Muhammad Musa.

“We were very fortunate that at the end of the semi-final game, the Indian Coach and former batsman Dravid spoke with one of our players, Shaheen Shah Afridi,” said Musa, quoted PakPassion.

The fast bowler revealed that the legendary batsman praised him and Shaheen, saying that the duo would emerge as successful bowlers in coming years.

“Unfortunately, I was already in the team bus when this meeting took place but Shaheen told me that Rahul Dravid praised both of us, saying that we were excellent bowlers and in the upcoming 3-4 years, we will become even more successful,” added Musa.

Pakistan U19 ended their World Cup campaign after losing to India by a mammoth margin of 203 runs in semi finals.
