MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf dissident MNA Ayesha Gulalai Thursday urged the people to vote for appropriate political figures in the next general election who had served them well.
Addressing a press conference at the Multan Press Club, she said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif was better than Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak and was paying full attention to resolve problems of the people.
Gulalai asked the government to help sugarcane farmers by ensuring prompt payments to them. South Punjab needed more attention and funding to meet development needs of the people, she added.
Talking about Lodhran bye-election, she said the PTI's ticket was awarded to the son of a billionaire politician.
