Pakistan cricket legend Shahid Afridi’s Royals claim victory Sehwag’s Diamonds in the first ever cricket match on ice.

Royals won by six wickets, against the target of 165, after England’s Owais Shah slapped a six off the first ball of the 16th over. Royals skipper Afridi depart without opening his account after Mohammad Kaif grabbed a stunner to dismiss Shahid Afridi out for a duck.

The St Moritz Ice Cricket 2018, showcased cricketing legends Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Jacque Kallis, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Mohammad Kaif, Mahela Jayawardene, Lasith Malinga and Michael Hussey, in one of  the most unusual settings for a cricket match.

“It has been a while since getting an interesting challenge. But this February 8 and February 9 is going to be interesting. I am ready for the #IceCricketChallenge in Switzerland where some of the top cricketers will play Cricket on Ice,” Afridi stated earlier said on social media.
