Shahid Afridi ready to take on Sehwag’s challenge

Pakistan former captain and star all rounder, Shahid Afridi, is ready to take on Virender Sehwag XI in the upcoming ice cricket match at the Swiss Alps on February 8 and February 9.

Afridi, will be leading the Royals against Sehwag’s Diamonds in a T20 contest. Afridi, who is known for his ability to hit massive sixes on the field and gung-ho attitude off the field, has deemed the encounter an ‘interesting challenge.’

“It has been a while since getting an interesting challenge. But this February 8 and February 9 is going to be interesting. I am ready for the #IceCricketChallenge in Switzerland where some of the top cricketers will play Cricket on Ice,” Afridi said on social media.

The cricketing event will be held at St. Moritz in Switzerland, which includes the likes of cricketing legends such as Shoaib Akhtar, Abdul Razzaq, Mahela Jayawardena, Jacques Kallis, Michael Hussey, Graeme Smith and many more.
