Veteran Pakistan opener Imran Nazir, who was one of the most popular cricketing stars during his heydays, has said that he missed Pakistan Super League (PSL) more than any other thing.

In an interview, former opener Imran Nazir thanked Multan Sultans owner Ashar Shawn for reintroducing him in the ground.

Imran played his first game on Sunday after the absence of 4.5 years due to injuries and illness. Fortunately, the hard hitting batsman has managed to recover from the injury and is training these days.

“I missed cricket so much in these years. Thanks to the prayers, l am back and ready to go,” he said. “Still, I am not 100 percent but working on my fitness,” said Imran.

He thanked all the fans for the support and prayers.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Multan Sultans will kick off their PSL campaign against the defending champions Peshawar Zalmi on February 22.
