LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that there was no bigger obligation than serving the public and the PML-N always made records of development whenever it came to power.

According to a handout issued here on Saturday, he said billions of rupees had been spent to provide basic facilities to the people.

He said, "We are utilising all our energies and resources for the welfare of people but the sit-in (Dharna) party was in habit to criticise welfare projects of the government instead of serving people and the people would not forgive the "Dharna" party for impeding path of progress.

The CM said those who criticised public welfare projects of the PML-N government should tell people about their performance.
