He said that the current provincial government introduced record legislation to provide justice to poor. The recent cabinet meeting approved amendments to different rules of Civil Procedure Code for the easy and inexpensive justice, he added.

He made these remarks while talking to a representative delegation of district Bannu headed by Advisor to CM for Transport Malik Shah Muhammad Wazir at Chief Minister’s House Peshawar.Provincial Minister for Law Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi and others were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that the provincial government introduced amendments in the rules of Civil Procedure Code as people were suffering due to lengthy litigation and expensive justice system.

He said that Imran Khan had a vision to mitigate the sufferings of poor therefore the provincial government implemented a road map for the benefit of poor.

He said during a short span of four and a half years his government did everything for the welfare of poor and that was the main reason the people kept on joining PTI.

Referring to the amendments in the Civil Procedure Code, the Chief Minister went on saying that the decision of the cabinet was historic in nature that would remove the complexities and assured the government would provide all prerequisites to the High Court.

Pervez Khattak said that the provincial government would send proposed amendments in the criminal law to the federal government.

He said that the PTI government spent billions of rupees on health and education sector reforms. It established 90 colleges throughout the province including covering of missing facilities. The government was also providing additional Rs. 3 billion for the new equipments in hospitals in addition to the billions for the standardization of hospitals, he added.
