India could not subjugate the people of Jammu and Kashmir or intimidated Pakistan through purchasing billions of dollars modern weapons, he said while talking to a news channel.

Appreciating the Pakistan Armed forces, he said "our valiant forces are well trained and fully capable to defend the motherland."

He said that India did not want to see economic progress of Pakistan by CPEC or "One Belt - One Road" project.

He said that CPEC and construction of Gawadar port would bring economic prosperity for the people of Pakistan.

To a question about India's violation along the line of control, he said that no one could dare to intimidate Pakistan having well trained Army, nuclear capability and JF-17 fighter planes, besides high morale of Jawans.

To another question regarding internal situation of the country, he urged the political parties to wait for next general elections and avoid supporting or participating in sit-ins.

He said that political parties including opposition had scared about the popularity of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, in the country. Major (R) Tahir Iqbal said the PML-N would clinch the next general elections with thumping majority due to its performance and development work.
