CM reviews progress on Kasur case

LAHORE: A meeting was held here on Monday with Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the chair in which IG Police briefed about the progress made on the tragic incident that occurred in Kasur.

Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that the criminal involved in the murder of Zainab must be arrested as soon as possible and police teams should proceed this case further with hard work.

He said that justice would also be done in the case of two persons that died due to firing and every possible support would be accorded to the bereaved families.

Provincial Minister Ayub Gadhi, Spokesman Punjab Government Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Chief Secretary, ACS (Home) and officials concerned  attended the meeting, while head of JIT/RPO Multan, RPO Sheikhupura, DC and DPO Kasur attended the meeting through video link.
