A D Khawaj assured the parents of slain brothers that police was making all out efforts to nab the culprits as early as possible.

He said the police is facing difficulties to trace the assailants, as there was unfortunately no eye witness account of the firing incident.

The IGP while offering soothing words with the children of slain brothers, said that besides Thar police, all district police had been directed to make every efforts for arrest of the criminals.

He said that at the moment he can not share with media about the progress in arres of real killers and the money they snatched from the traders.

"I get twice a day the progress report from police about this case" the IGP said.

Expressing deep regret, the IGP said that Thar is a peaceful area, this is for the first time in its history that two persons were killed in firing.

He said that if no progress was achieved in this case, he may suspend the DSP and area SHO. Some area elected representative, it may be noted had earlier announced the arrest of the killers, but after IGP's announcement, people were disappointed.
