5.9 magnitude quake hits 145 km SE of Kirakira, Solomon Islands

HONG KONG: An earthquake of 5.9 magnitude jolted 145 km SE of Kirakira, Solomon Islands on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 23.5 km, was initially determined to be at 11.1957 degrees south latitude and 163.0205 degrees east longitude.
