Zubair lauds Saudi Arabia's role towards Pakistan's development

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair has praised the role of Saudi Arabia towards the development of Pakistan.

He was talking to the new Consul General of Saudi Arabia in Karachi, Obaidullah M.A. AlHarbi, who called on him at the Governor House, here on Tuesday.

The Governor said that strong bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries are based on mutual respect and spirit of brotherhood.

Muhammad Zubair said that Saudi Arabia extended assistance to Pakistan at every difficult time and Pakistani nation views this gesture with great respect.

He said that further enhancement in bilateral economic and trade ties between the two countries is the need of the hour.

Muhammad Zubair pointed out that in the wake of improvement in the law and order situation the atmosphere is conducive for investment in various spheres.

He said that Karachi is the economic and commercial hub of the country with immense opportunities for investments and that the Saudi investors can also benefit from this situation.

The Consul General assured cooperation towards the economic cooperation and said that Pakistan is a big market and no international company can overlook this very aspect.

He said that the Saudi people consider Pakistan as a citadel of Islam.
