Raja reveals why Pakistan failed in the second ODI

Pakistan cricket team suffered their second straight loss of the tour of New Zealand, after the Black Caps won by eight wickets under the Duckworth Lewis Method on Tuesday.

Pakistan former captain turned cricket analyst, Ramiz Raja was of the view that the New Zealand ‘bouncer strategy’ worked for the hosts, as they choked the visitors batting line at Nelson.

“So NZ squeezed the breath out of Pak batting by executing a bouncer strategy mixed with great fielding and garnishing the act with spin sprinkling!! Too much on the plate for Pakistan to digest,” stated Raja, on social media.

Pakistan batting line crumble once again, as they were 141 for the loss of seven  wickets at one stage, but the late fight back from Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali, who scored 52 and 51, respectively, took the Green Shirts to a score of 246 at the loss of nine wickets.

With the series 2-0 in favor of New Zealand, the third series deciding ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan will be played at the Oval on January 12.
