The New Zealand cricket head coach Mike Hesson has praised the Pakistani bowling attack, saying that facing the Green Shirts would be a ‘challenge.’

The Kiwis are rising high after their dominant performance against the West Indies in all three formats of the game. "I don't think we relaxed at any stage, I think we were pretty professional in how we operated,” said Hesson, quoted NZ NewsWire.

"But Pakistan are quite a different challenge. They're as good a bowling attack as there is going around world cricket at the moment,” he said.

The Black Caps head coach called the Pakistan bowling attack ‘varied’, consisting of different kinds of bowlers. "They're very varied - they've got wrist spinners, they've got finger spinners, they've got left and right arm quicks," he said.

Hesson's praise, however, was not limited to Pakistan’s bowlers, the Kiwis coach expected the Green Shirt batting line to showcase a composed, aggressive performance. Pakistan will play five-match ODI series followed by a three-match T20I series against New Zealand, commencing from January 6.
