Pakistan team kicked off training at the Saxton Oval on Monday, ahead of the ODI series scheduled to be held in New Zealand later this month.

Head coach Mickey Arthur held a detailed lecture for the participants before the training got under way.

Pakistan cricket team is enjoying their stay at New Zealand, as the squad went off to a mountain climbing trip on Saturday.

The cricketers were soaking in the sun at the picturesque nation of the Kiwis. The mountain climb, however, was not just a fun filled activity but an important team building session, said Shadab, as the team eyes tough challenge ahead.

Pakistan will play five ODIs and three T20Is, commencing from January 6 to January 28.
