Pakistan cricket team left for New Zealand in the wee hours of Thursday morning, to participate in the five ODIs and three T20 internationals series starting from January 6.

The cricketers, including fast bowlers Muhammad Amir and Hasan Ali, asked their fans to pray for them as they face off Kiwis, Down Under.

"We want to play positive cricket. In places such as New Zealand, if you don't play attacking cricket, bowlers usually get the upper hand," skipper Sarfraz had earlier, while revealing the team's strategy.

Here is the ODI squad, while the T20I squad will be announced later.

SQUAD: Sarfraz Ahmed, Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Hafeez , Haris Sohail, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Amir, Hasan Ali, Rumman Raees and Amir Yamin.
