Opening of concerned bank branches to facilitate collection of govt duties/taxes on Dec 30

KARACHI: In order to facilitate the collection of Government duties/taxes, NIFT will provide special clearing facility on the advice of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

This was announced in a statement of the SBP issued here on Tuesday.

`All banks are, therefore, advised to keep their concerned branches open on December 30, 2017 (Saturday) till such time that is necessary to facilitate the special clearing for government transactions', the SBP statement added.
