Pakistan team finishes off 2017 at the top

Pakistan cricket team will finish off the year as the top ranked T20I side, in the latest ICC Rankings.

Meanwhile, Pakistan team's injured all rounder Imad Wasim has made his way back to the top as the number one T20I bowler. Imad has been top-ranked in the past. He has spent 15 matches and 132 days at the top.

Earlier, the all rounder was dropped from the 15-member squad for ODI against the New Zealand, after feeling discomfort in his previously injured knee, which ruled him out from ODI Squad. The all-rounder has been working on his fitness in National Cricket Academy.

Meanwhile, arch rivals India too has made rapid gains at the points table, after crushing Sri Lanka 3-0 in a recently concluded series. Sitting second with 121 points, India are 3 points short of the top ranked Pakistan.
