Civil, military leadership committed to work for country’s betterment: Senator

Civil and military leadership were on same page regarding national security issues, he said talking to PTV.

He termed the briefing of Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa to the Senate a historical and appreciable step which would strengthen the democracy.

He said the parliamentarians warmly welcomed the COAS, Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) to the Senate.

Javed Abbasi said the COAS briefed the parliamentarians with clarity on national security issues. PTI Senator Nauman Wazir said every parliamentarian was satisfied with the briefing of the COAS.
