Pakistan leg spin prodigy Shadab Khan, received a warm welcome as he landed in Australia for the upcoming Big Bash League.

The leggie would be seen representing the Brisbane Heat, under the captaincy of New Zeland captain Brendon McCullum and the mentorship of Kiwi legend Daniel Vettori.

“In the press conference, I said that playing in Australia was a dream for me and it has now become a reality. I am really excited about learning new things here in tough conditions with @HeatBBL,” stated Shadab, in a tweet post.

Earlier, the head coach of Heats Daniel Vettori praised the leggie from Pakistan.

“I think Shadab is one of the bright young stars of world cricket known to people for his leg spin. What we have found from the last two years is that with the skills set of someone like Samuel Badree can really work at Gabba, and Shadab brings that same sort of skill set,” said Vettori.
