PSQCA seals ghee factory

LAHORE: Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) sealed an illegal ghee and oil producing factory in Quad-e-Azam Industrial Estate.

According to PSQCA officials, on the directions of DG,PSQCA Khalid Siddique, a special team took action against Alfa Brand Cooking Oil & Ghee factory over poor arrangements and lack of testing laboratory. The workers in the factory were preparing cooking oil and ghee without PSQCA licence.

Entire stock of the factory was seized and Deputy Director Asghar Ali warned of strict action against all the cooking oil/ghee producers lacking proper processing units.
