HESCO forms a high level supervisory committee

The HESCO's spokesman Sadiq Kubar informed here on Friday that the committee would monitor both the recovery of utility bills, actions to decrease the line losses and the mobile meter reading.General Manager Operations Mehmood Ahmed Khan, Chief Commercial Officer Saeed Ahmed Dawach, Chief Engineer Abdul Sattar Memon and Additional Director Commercial Mehmood Ali Qaimkhani were its members, he added.

"The HESCO's chief has categorically stated that electricity will be provided to only those consumers who pay the bill," the spokesman underlined.Kubar claimed that HESCO owed Rs. 54.37 billion to its consumers including Rs.50.43 billion to the private consumers, Rs. 2.37 billion on the federal government and Rs. 1.56 billion on Sindh Government.
