The PML-N had the credit for initiating work on FATA reforms and a committee was formed by the former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on the subject, he said while talking to a private news channel. He said the government wanted to sort out the matter with consensus and all stakeholders were being taken on-board.
He expressed the hope that the matter would be resolved soon as the government never intended delay in it.Javed Abbasi also urged other political parties to play their due role as it was a collective cause.
The people of FATA would get proper identification after merger and would come into a mainstream, he said.
The senator said the PML-N government had bring the country out of major challenges being faced in 2013.Terrorism and power load-shedding were among the mega issues which had been addressed to a maximum extent in four years, he said.
