ISLAMABAD: Snowfall in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and northern Punjab has left tourists stranded in Murree among adjoining areas.

A private news channel reported that Nathiagali, Pir Chinasi, Rawalakot, Shangla, Skardu and Galyat have witnessed heavy snowfall stranding tourists in the areas with a woman complaining to lack of food and necessities following the harsh weather.

Connecting roads of the areas are blocked  restricting movement of the people. Administration has shut Ayubia chairlift as there are no tourists to enjoy the ride.

Roads to Deosai of Skardu are blocked, cutting the tourists’ spot from the adjoining areas while people in Lowari Top and Shangla are stranded as well.

However, tourists have flocked Murree’s Mall Road to enjoy the snowfall.
