Opening batsman Nasir Jamshed has been banned for one year by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for his involvement in Pakistan Super League (PCB) spot-fixing reaction on Monday.

As per media reports, PCB anti-corruption tribunal declared the opening batsman guilty of violating its code for 'obstruction and non-cooperation' in the spot-fixing scandal.

The former opener was charged with violating two articles, 2.4.6 and 2.4.7, of the PCB’s anti-corruption code, reported Geo Tv.

Earlier, PCB contacted the people in close circle of Jamshed. Meanwhile, the details regarding the activities of the cricketer have been collected in London and Pakistan.
