Published Updated

Equities registered gains at the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) on Monday amid ascending transaction volume mainly on account of fresh buying activity in selective scrips. The LSE-25 index showed an improvement of 22.54 points and closed at 3259.82 points against 3237.28 points of last Friday. Trading turnover surged to 03.362 million shares as compared to 02.265 million shares traded on last working day.
The market opened on a cautious note and closed in positive territory due to taking fresh position by the investors only in selective scrips.
