Without a doubt, Pakistan has produced some of the greatest players of cricket, such as legends Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad and others.

However, Pakistan team has been lacking a good batsman since the retirement of Inzamam ul Haq, Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan. But since the start of Pakistan Super League (PSL), the country has not only got great bowlers like Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali, but also found a reliable batsman in shape of Babar Azam.

As the league is progressing, we saw some great players bursting onto the scene. Since last year or two, we have seen some young batsman emerging from grass root level. They all possess a talent that makes them deserving to be a part of the game.

Similarly, Mohammad Arif, the 18-year old who represented FATA in the National T20 Cup, showed that he got all the shorts in the book and can hit the ball long as well. However, he will be missed in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 3 as he remained unpicked in the drafts.
