Published Updated

The Indian rupee ended stronger on Thursday boosted by positive local shares and inflows from corporate borrowings, but a weak euro and high oil prices could play spoilsport, traders said. The one-month offshore non-deliverable forward contracts were quoted 45.00, weaker than the onshore spot rate.
In the currency futures market , the most traded near-month dollar-rupee contracts on the National Stock Exchange, the MCX-SX and the United Stock Exchange were at 44.7900, 44.7850 and 44.7950, with the total volume at about $8.35 billion.
