Poland's central bank keeps key rate flat, as expected

The bank also said on Tuesday that it will cut the required reserves rate to 0.5 percent starting from Jan. 1, 2018. This rate has remained at 1.35 percent since March 2015.

The central bank, which ended an easing cycle in March 2015, also said on Tuesday that it kept its lombard rate flat at 2.50 percent, the deposit rate at 0.50 percent and the rediscount rate at 1.75 percent.

The bank's rate-setting Monetary Policy Council will hold a news conference at 1500 GMT.
