Pakistan Under-19 loss against Afghanistan in the finals of the recently concluded ACC U-19 Asia Cup 2017 came as a shock to many of the green shirts fans and followers.

The loss was hard to digest even for the legendary Imran Khan, who was left perplexed with the outcome and addressed this issue during a political rally.

"I fail to understand how Pakistan, which has been a top cricket team, was able to lose in the recent Under-19 tournament to Afghanistan – a country that only has a few cricket grounds," said Imran Khan, while addressing a rally in Chishtian.

Pakistan U19 suffered a humiliating lost against Afghanistan U19, as they were beaten by 185 runs, after the entire batting line collapsed at just 63 runs, at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Novemeber 19.

The victory was celebrated by Afghanistan, as the country’s chief executive Abdullah Abdullah also congratulated the team on social media.

"I feel proud to congratulate our nation on this very unique, rare and prideful occasion of our country's cricket as Afghanistan's U19 clinches historic win over Pakistan at the ACC U-19 Asia Cup and lifts the trophy for the first time in the history," posted Abdullah.
