Pakistan's Liquid Foreign Reserves increase

KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 19,693.2 million on November 24, 2017.

A State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) statement here on Thursday said that the break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: i) Foreign reserves held by the SBP: US$ 13,547.3 million ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 6,145.9 million iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 19,693.2 million.

During the week ending 24 November 2017, the SBP's reserves increased by US$ six million to US $ 13.547 million, the statement added.
