Sixers grab Pakistan’s T20 specialist Sohail Tanvir

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) welcomed another Pakistani fast bowler, after T20 specialist Sohail Tanvir joined the Sylhet Sixers for the tournament.

Tanvir made a name for himself especially in the T20 format, thanks to his unique bowling action that makes him a popular feature in different T20 leagues across the globe.

The fast bowler will be joining fellow opening batsman Babar Azam at Sixers, the team enjoyed a great start to the tournament as they won their first three games in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Tanvir, has earlier played in the BPL when he represented Comilla Victorians and will now provide much-needed firepower to the Sylhet bowling attack.

Earlier, Pakistan cricket stars Shahid Afridi and Hasan Ali stood out with impressive showings. Hasan become only the second bowler in T20 history to dismiss five batsmen bowled in a match.
