Work on laying of Pak-China optical fiber project underway

ISLAMABAD: Sector Commander Special Communication Organization (SCO) Gilgit-Baltistan Colonel Adeel Sabir Khan said that work on laying of Pak-China optical fiber project is in progress.

In a statement, he said SCO is laying 820 kilometers long optical fiber cable from Khunjerab to Rawalpindi at a cost of forty-four million dollars, reported Radio Pakistan.

He said SCO is committed to completing the ongoing project before it stipulated time.
