Four people were killed and 17 injured in a bomb blast that took place at Sariab Road near a bridge in Quetta on Saturday.

According to local media reports, the explosion took place near Frontier Corps (FC) Commander's car, which also wrecked others vehicle on the road. The FC commander, however, was not present in car at the time of the blast. The bullet proof vehicle was also not harmed.

As result of the blast,two FC vehicles, three rickshaws and motorcycles were also damaged.

The nature of the explosion has not been ascertained yet, the police said. The injured have been shifted to Civil hospital.
