KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Wednesday appreciated the positive attitude and support of Federal Government for timely execution of three mega development projects recommended by Sindh province, which have been adopted as part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The provincial governments were asked by the Federal Government to come up with some mega development projects for inclusion in CPEC programme. Of Sindh's projects proposed on this account, Karachi Circular Railways, Dhabeji Special Economic Zone and Keti Bandar (Port) projects were approved for the execution under CPEC.

While talking to media outside Sindh Assembly, Nasir Shah referred to China-Pakistan Joint Cooperation Committee of CPEC's meeting in Islamabad on November 21-- which was also attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

He said KCR along with other projects of CPEC was discussed in detail by JCC and the work on this project would start soon.

Sindh Government had prepared for ground-braking of KCR on December 25, on birth day of Father-of-the-Nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, However, he continued, the process of tendering among Chinese companies would have to be completed first.
