KOLKATA: Sri Lanka were bowled out by India for 294 in their first innings on Sunday, a lead of 122 runs on the fourth day of the rain-hit first Test.

Number nine Rangana Herath top scored with a gritty 67 in Kolkata as the visitors wobbled after starting the day on 165 for 4 in reply to India's first innings 172.

Fast bowlers Mohammed Shami and Bhuvenshwar Kumar claimed four wickets each.
